Ex-CCU GA FM from NGRGLP to FPBGI

The Foundation for Public Broadcasting in Georgia Inc. is getting a Chatsworth GA station, WQMT-FM, from North Georgia Radio Group L.P. According to Media Services Group broker Eddie Esseman, the transaction is valued at 3.2M. The seller itself acquired the station in a package deal with Clear Channel about two years ago. The station serves the northwest Georgia town of Dalton, which itself is 25-30 miles southeast of Chattanooga.
