Another FM chipped off the Citadel block

The Last Bastion Station Trust, with Media Venture Partners broker Elliot B. Evers on hand as caretaker, has found a buyer for WCYI-FM, serving the Portland ME market from its licensed perch of Lewiston ME. Lewiston-Auburn ME is itself a minimalist Arbitron market, although WCYI is considered part of the Portland market for ratings purposes. But the station will exit the books once the noncommercial and voracious Educational Media Foundation takes over the station. It'll pay 1M cash to add its Contemporary Christian programming to the station. EMF says it is now active in all but four states. Last Bastion is a holding group formed by Citadel Broadcasting Corporation to handle spin-offs necessitated by its merger agreement with ABC/Disney.
