Small Missouri group sells

A 2-AM, 3-FM collection of stations in an unrated portion of southeast Missouri is going to a group headed by Randolph A. Miller and Paul Pesce. The seller is Dockins Communications Inc. Broker Doyle Hadden of Hadden & Associates handled the sale, which includes a combo, KPWB AM & FM Piedmont MO, and a three-station cluster comprised of KYLS-AM Frederictown MO, KYLS-FM Ironton MO and KTNX-FM Arcadia MO. The price is 1,832,500, 500K of which will be paid in cash with the rest coming pursuant to terms of a promissory note. The buyers are operating under the licensee name Southern Star Broadcasting of Missouri.
