Debut takes its next expansive step
One of radio's newest groups is making another move. In a pair of deals with Holladay Broadcasting, it is acquiring WBBV-FM in Vicksburg MS, and inking an LMA/option on sister KLSM-FM. The agreement will actually catapult the company to group status, giving it its second small market both in the state of Mississippi and on the banks of the Mississippi River. Its first market consists of a five station cluster 90 miles to the north in Greenville. Debut called the agreement a significant step in its plans to expand in the region. For it's part, Holladay is happy to be able to focus on its stations in larger markets.
