Media Services Group Managing Director George Reed has a new family: a group of radio stations located in western North Carolina which he will hold in receivership and attempt to sell. Technically, in his role as receiver Reed has retained his own brokerage to market the stations, licensed to Aisling Broadcasting of Banner Elk LLC. The stations include WECR-FM Beech Mountain, WATA-AM Boone, WMMY-FM Jefferson, WECR-AM Newland, WZJS-FM Banner Elk and WXIT-AM Blowing Rock.
