Loons peck of a chunk off Citadel

Another agreement has been struck for one of the Citadel spin-offs parked in the Last Bastion Station Trust under the TLC of Media Venture Partners broker Elliot Evers. WYLZ-FM Pinconning MI, serving the Saginaw-Bay City-Midland market, is going to a new licensee formed on behalf of minor league baseball team The Great Lakes Loons. The Loons will use the station as flagship for a play-by-play radio network, and run ESPN programming at other times on the 100.9 MHz facility. It will be licensed under the name Michigan Radio Operations. The price is be 325K cash.
