Slick tri-state move by Swick

Stephen M. Swick is getting five stations in three states in a move to become an instantaneous group owner. Seller Thomas Andrews and his Lake Cities Broadcasting Corporation will pick up 3.8M in exchange. Swick Broadcasting Company Inc. will be getting a fulcrum station in WTHD-FM  Lagrange IN. It will share coverage area with WMSH AM & FM Sturgis MI, and WLKI-FM Angola IN (there is no overlap between the Sturgis and Angola stations, however). The group is rounded out by a standalone station, WLZZ-FM, located in Montpelier OH. None of the stations are in an Arbitron-rated zone.
