Salem pares down in Seattle

Tacoma WA AM station KKMO is going to a new owner, as Religious radio leader Salem Communications spins one of its many senior-band properties in the Seattle-Tacoma market. The buyer is Tron Do’s Intelli LLC. The price is 3.69M cash. The deal leaves Salem with four AMs in the market, one of which is an expanded band outlet. Intelli does not own any other stations, but it is experienced in radio programming – according to the KKMO application, it brokers six hours daily on Multicultural Radio Broadcasting’s KSJX-FM in San Jose CA.
