Well, maybe the Nostalgia format isn’t the hottest one around, but the call letters of WORD-AM are perfect for a station licensed to racing capital Daytona Beach FL. The station will be undergoing an ownership change, with paperwork already on file at the FCC. The buyer is Volusia Broadcasting Company, headed by Daniel N. Cohen, Jeffrey D. Greenhaut and Joseph Hopkins. They’ll pay $775K for the station.
