Learfield looks the south
Regional radio network operator Learfield News is expanding its wings. Rooted in the Midwest with state networks in Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin, it is now adding South Carolina to the mix, acquiring the South Carolina Radio Network from TeleSouth Communications. The net serves up news and sports programming to 45 affiliates in the state. Learfield also has extensive agricultural radio holdings.
