CBS Radio improves ratings in NYC year over year

CBS provided some performance highlights for the Fall 2007 Arbitron survey released yesterday. CBS Radio’s NYC cluster year to year gains show P12+ is up 24% with share increasing from 13.5 to 16.7 AQH. P25-54 is up 21% with share increasing from 13.1 to 15.9 AQH.

102.7 Fresh had its strongest book in all female demos:

W18-34 YTY jumped 318% from 1.1 AQH 17th place to 4.6 AQH 6th place

W18-49 YTY jumped 161% from 1.8 AQH 15th place to 4.7 AQH 7th place

W25-54 YTY jumped 119% from 2.1 AQH 14th place to 4.6 AQH 6th place

WCBS-FM year to year P12+ jumped 76% from 2.1 AQH 17th place to 3.7 AQH 6th place. YTY with P25-54 increased 17% from 2.9 AQH 12th place to 3.4 AQH 9th place.

KRock year to year, compared with the defunct Free FM format, rock posted impressive gains in the targeted male demos:

M18-34 YTY jumped 58% from 3.3 AQH 9th place to 5.2 AQH 5th place

M18-49 YTY jumped 39% from 2.8 AQH 13th place to 3.9 AQH 5th place

M25-54 YTY jumped 19% from 2.6 AQH 14th place to 3.1 AQH 10th place

Opie and Anthony led the station placing #1 English language Men 18-49 and Men 25-54.
