In last week’s Media Monitors Radio Spot Ten report, one brick-and-mortar retailer stood out from the pack with respect to the number of spots it invested in at the nation’s FMs and AMs.

That retailer is JCPenney, which took first place airing 41,997 spots. The jump came as Macy’s fell to No. 10, with 28,106 spots, in a week where it enjoyed a lot of complimentary TV exposure thanks to its annual Thanksgiving Day parade.

Amazon.com moved up a notch to No. 5, with 37,415 ads airing ahead of “Cyber Monday.”

Meanwhile, AT&T Wireless advanced from No. 20 to No. 6, with 32,827 commercials.
