Despite heavy competition from the Olympics opening ceremony (18.1 HH rating/30 share for Prime Time), NBA All-Star programming, and the beginning of the holiday weekend Spartacus: Blood and Sand episode 104 once again drew impressive audiences 2/12. Overall premium television viewing declined 13% during Prime Time for the evening compared to the prior three Fridays – though Spartacus averaged just 2% fewer viewers (P2+) combined for its two telecasts of the evening versus the prior three Fridays. While the 10PM telecast attracted fewer numbers than in recent weeks, the 12:35AM repeat far exceeded previous two Fridays’ viewers and ranked third among all premium programs for the day.
