A station-to-be earmarked for Ginger TX is changing hands before it can be built, or even get call letters assigned. If Ginger were just a little further south, it would be in between Tyler TX and Dallas TX.

The seller is Hispanic Family Christian Network Inc., headed by Antonio Cesar Guel. The buyer is the Central Park Church of God, headed by Juan E. Martinez.

The price tag is a hefty $500K. $50K of that was paid when a letter of intent was signed back on 7/1/08, and another $40K has changed hands since then. The buyer will continue making monthly payments of $5K and will provide a promissory note for whatever is left over on closing day.

The CP is for a Class A on 91.5 MHz with 200 watts on an 180’ HAAT stick.
