In late-night metered-market households Saturday night: An encore telecast of “Saturday Night Live” (4.0/10 in metered-market households), hosted by Amy Poehler with musical guest Katy Perry, dominated the time period.
Versus last season’s first “Saturday Night Live” encore, this week’s rebroadcast is up 8 percent in metered-market households (4.0 vs. 3.7 on October 24, 2009). *Note that current metered-market averages are based on Nielsen “live plus same day” data while ratings for last year were drawn from “live only” results.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Saturday Night Live” averaged a 2.1 rating, 9 share in adults 18-49 and was the #1 non-sports show of the night in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime entertainment telecasts on the English-language broadcast networks.
