Beasley Broadcast Philadelphia welcomes radio industry programming vet Rick Vaughn as Program Director of Wired 96.5 WRDW-FM. Vaughn’s first day in the Wired 96.5 studios will be February 18th and he will report to Vice President and Market Manager Natalie Conner.
With over 20 years of experience in radio broadcasting, Rick comes to Wired 96.5 from Atlanta, where he served as Program Director of WWPW-FM and WRDA-FM. Prior to Atlanta he enjoyed successful stops at WKSC-FM in Chicago, WKSS-FM in Hartford and KHTS-FM in San Diego. Notably, Rick also served as Program Director of WIOQ in Philadelphia from 2006 – 2008; this new opportunity at Wired 96.5 represents a move back to a city he knows well and loves.
Previous programming positions include KGGI-FM in Riverside, KKFR-FM in Phoenix and KZZU-FM in Spokane. His interest in radio began at KZFN-FM Moscow, Idaho while attending, then graduating from, Washington State University.
