Stock prices dropped Monday as traders watched the euro fall against the US dollar – but then the market rebounded as the euro rebounded, indicating renewed confidence in the financial underpinnings of European economies. When the wild ride was over, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which had been down over 180 points, ended the session up six points at 10,626. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite also finished with small gains for the day. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was down 0.509, or 0.1%, at 425.928.
The TVBR Television Index was up 3.892, or 1.8%, at 217.830.
