As it continues to build its platform in small and mid-sized markets, Overland Park, KS-based Rural Broadband Investments (a division of GTCR) has closed its acquisition of several cable systems from Cass Cable TV. The buy comes shortly after RBI’s initial platform investments in NewWave Communications and the purchases of Cable Management Associates, the McDonald Cable/Cablevison systems and City Cable from The City of Poplar Bluff, MO.
