‘Saturday Night Live’ w/ ‘Vampire Weekend’ takes #1 post

From 8-9 p.m., an encore telecast of “Parenthood” (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall) is currently reporting NBC’s strongest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time period in seven weeks (since March 13).  Week to week, “Parenthood” is up in this slot by 60 percent in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.5) and 50 percent in total viewers (2.7 million vs. 1.8 million), pending updates.
 
At 9 p.m., a rebroadcast of “Law and Order” (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC’s highest non-sports rating in adults 18-49 for this slot since December 12.  Week to week, “Law & Order” is up 43 percent in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.7) and 21 percent in total viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.6 million), pending updates.


At 10 p.m., an encore telecast of “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” (1.3/4 in 18-49, 5.1 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC’s highest 18-49 rating in the time period since March 6.  In the time period, “SVU” is the #1 non-sports telecast on the major networks in adults 18-49, adults 18-34, women 18-34 and all key adult-male demos.

In late-night metered-market households Saturday night

An encore telecast of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, hosted by Zach Galifianakis and featuring musical guest Vampire Weekend (4.2/11 in metered-market households), dominated the time period, delivering the #1 rating of the night in metered-market households ahead of all primetime telecasts on all the major networks.  In the 25 markets with local people meters, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE averaged a 2.1/9 in adults 18-49 and was the night’s #1 telecast.

Versus the same night last year, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE was up 5 percent in metered-market households (4.2 vs. 4.0).
