FOXFOX’s SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE posted week-over-week gains last night to give FOX the nightly win across Adults 18-49, Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Teens.


In fact, FOX out-rated the #2 network last night by +100% in Adults 18-49 (2.6 vs. CBS’ 1.3) and +144% in Adults 18-34 (2.2 vs. ABC’s 0.9).

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE: 2.6/8, up +8% from last week’s premiere in Adults 18-49 and up +11% in Total Viewers (7.0 vs. 6.3 Mil.)

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE was the #1 program of the night in Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens.

Competition

ABC ran repeats of The Middle (1.3/4), Suburgatory (1.2/4), Modern Family (1.5/4), Happy Endings (1.1/3), Don’t Trust The B In Apartment 23 (1.1/3) and Modern Family (1.1/3).

The series premiere of CBS’s Dogs in the City posted a1.3/4, down -13% from last year’s summer premiere of Same Name (1.5/4 on 7/24/11). Repeats of Criminal Minds (1.1/3) and CSI (1.5/4) aired at 9pm and 10pm.

Due to the nature of live sports, Fast Nationals for NBC are approximate. The Stanley Cup Finals Game 1: Los Angeles Kings vs. New Jersey Devils posted a 1.0/3 from 8-11p, down -44% from last year’s Game 1 (Boston Bruins vs. Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday 6/1/11), which posted a 1.8 in both the Fast and Final Nationals.

Wednesday Results:

Fast-affiliate ratings for last night’s live coverage of Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final are subject to significant revision.  In metered-market household ratings, the overtime game between the Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils averaged a 2.4 rating, 4 share from 8-11:15 p.m. ET.  From 11-11:15, the telecast averaged a 3.2/6 in metered-market households, up from a 2.2/4 for its first half-hour from 8-8:30.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

In Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, household results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 1.7/5 with an encore telecast delayed by hockey; CBS’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” 2.5/6 with an encore; and ABC’s combo of “Nightline,” 2.9/7; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 1.4/4 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” 0.5/3 with an encore delayed by hockey; “Late Show,” 0.5/2 with an encore; “Nightline,” 1.0/4; and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” 0.5/3 with an encore.

At 12:35 a.m., “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” (1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore delayed by hockey) trailed CBS’s first-run on-time “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” (1.3/4).  In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, “Late Night” (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore delayed by hockey) tied “Late Late Show” (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., “Last Call with Carson Daly” averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 with an encore delayed by hockey in the 25 markets with local people meters.
