Stocks ramped higher on Monday, boosted by M&A activity, an upbeat German confidence report and bets that the S&P’s foray into new high ground could spur further buying. The S&P failed to score a record closing high. The Dow gained 105.83 points, or 0.7%, to end at 16,209.13.
The RBR Radio Index was down 2.314, or .3%, to 914.370.
The TVBR Television Index was up 4.561, or .6%, to 819.565.
