Stocks rally as Ukraine fears recede; Microsoft jumps

Stocks rallied Tuesday, lifting the S&P 500 further into year-to-date gains, as investors backed off their worse fears of military conflict in Ukraine. Microsoft jumped 4% to a 2000 high on expectations its popular Office suite of products could appear on Apple devices. The S&P   rose 13.42 points, or 7%, to 1,872.25. The Dow gained 88.97 points, or 0.6%, to 16,336.19.


The RBR Radio Index was up 13.526, or 1.4%, to 967.135.

The TVBR Television Index was up 10.449, or 1.4%, to 753.815.
