Despite a government report of fewer new applications for jobless benefits, the stock market ended Thursday’s session slightly lower. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was off 16 points, or 0.1%, to 11,569. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 7.586, or 2.3%, to 338.542.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.616, or 0.8%, to 215.197.
