Some takeover news – none of it in media – generated some excitement on Wall Street Monday, but worries about the Fed’s decision late last week to raise its discount rate put a damper on the session, which ended slightly to the down side. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was off 19 points, or 0.2%, at 10,383. Broadcasting stocks were mixed.
The RBR Radio Index was up 0.821, or 0.4%, at 214.339.
The TVBR Television Index was down 1.159, or 0.8%, to 149.403.
