Nexstar Media Group powered ahead $2 a share, to $67.40, in a trading session that also saw Spanish Broadcasting System finally end a severe dip in its stock since debuting Jan. 19 on an over-the-counter exchange. Shares in “SBSAA” closed at $1.15, up 7 cents.
The day’s biggest riser among media stocks is iHeartMedia, which improved by 8 cents, to $1.18. Cumulus Media was down by nearly a penny, to $0.99 cents.
The RBR Radio Index rose 0.781, or 0.14%, to 546.676.
The TVBR Television Index rose 6.230, or 0.63%, to 991.577.
