Analyst: Peak In Auto Sales Could Hurt Sirius XM

Sirius XMSirius XM’s health could be more intricately tied to the vigor of the automotive industry, based on the assessment from one analyst who says SIRI shares are in for a bumpy ride.

Quinn Foley, an analyst at Madison Investment Research, says the U.S. auto cycle “has peaked” after five years of strong growth.

Thus, “This has important implications for Sirius XM, a company for which new car sales are a major revenue driver.”
