TeleFutura’s Broadcast Prime Increased by +44% among Total Viewers 2+ while Telemundo saw -9% Declines Versus Last Year.
 
 
NPM Broadcast Prime Highlights Week of 05/17/10
 
•      TeleFutura ended the week with over 900,000 Total Viewers 2+ (917,000), 546,000 Adults 18-49 and 353,000 Adults 18-34 during broadcast prime (M-Sat 8p-11p, Su 7p-11p) last week.
 
•     Compared to the same week a year ago, TeleFutura’s broadcast prime audience is up by huge margins among all key demographics, including Total Viewers 2+ (+18%), Adults 18-49 (+17%) and Adults 18-34 (+38%) while Telemundo is down by -17% among Total Viewers 2+, -16% among Adults 18-49 and -10% among Adults 18-34 in the same period.
 
•     Thus far in the 2009/2010 Season, TeleFutura shows strong audience growth during broadcast prime compared to the same period in the 2008/2009 Season while Telemundo reporting audience declines or minimal growth among key demographics that include Total Viewers 2+ (TFN +44% vs. TEL -9%), Adults 18-49 (TFN +43% vs. TEL -4%) and Adults 18-34 (TFN +46% vs. TEL +2%).
 
 
•     TeleFutura continues to generate more nightly wins over Telemundo in the current 2009/2010 Season during broadcast prime versus the same period in the 2008/2009 Season among Total Viewers 2+ (73 nights vs. 28 nights), Adults 18-49 (59 nights vs. 31 nights) and Adults 18-34 (69 nights vs. 30 nights).
 
•     TeleFutura was the #2 Spanish-Language Network, beating Telemundo, during the weekend broadcast prime hours (Sat-Sun average) among all key demographics, including Total Viewers 2+ (TFN 912,000 vs. TEL 714,000; +28% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TFN 501,000 vs. TEL 442,000; +13% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TFN 330,000 vs. TEL 274,000; +20% Adv.).
 
 
•     For example, TeleFutura’s Sunday night (May 23, 2010, 7pm-11pm) movie line-up which included “Cine de las Estrellas: Patrulla de Frontera” and “Cine de las Estrellas: Soldier,” beat Telemundo’s entire primetime line-up of “Maravilloso Mundo de Disney: The Pacifier” and “Cine Millonario: Hitman” by huge margins among Total Viewers 2+ (TFN 1,062,000 vs. TEL 729,000; +46% Adv.), Adults 18-49 (TFN 568,000 vs. TEL 457,000; +24% Adv.) and Adults 18-34 (TFN 355,000 vs. TEL 272,000; +31% Adv.).
