Television comes to terms with licensing agency

SESAC, Inc.Parties in both of the main broadcast streams – television and radio – have been seasick of SESAC, to the point of taking the agency to court on antitrust concerns. Now one case is over.


The settlement brings an end to a class action suit filed by a trio of television groups that has been pending since 2009 over concerns that SESAC has been overcharging television stations since 2008.
