Terre Haute twosome headed to Midwest

Duke Wright’s Midwest Communications Inc. aleady has an AM and three FMs in the Terre Haute IN market. It has now filed an application with the FCC to pick up two more: WBOW AM & FM.


The seller is Crossroads Investments, headed by Dan T. Lacy and Mike Peterson.

The price will be $1.3M cash. Also included in the deal are some non-competes worth $10K apiece.
WBOW-FM is a Class B on 102.7 MHz with 28 kW @ 659’; WBOW-AM is a Class D on 1300 kHz with 500 W-D, 75 W-N ND.

Midwest’s holdings in the market include WMGI-FM Terre Haute IN, WWSY-FM Seelyville IN and WPRS-AM/WIBQ-FM Paris IN.
