"The Biggest Loser: Couples" Tuesday tied #2 for the night at NBC

From 8-10 p.m., “The Biggest Loser: Couples” (3.3/9 in 18-49, 8.3) million viewers overall) scored its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 9.  “The Biggest Loser” tied for #2 in the time period behind only “American Idol”-boosted Fox in adults 18-49.  “Biggest Loser” grew week-to-week by 10 percent in 18-49 (3.3 vs. 3.0) and 8 percent in total viewers (8.3 million vs. 7.7 million). 
 
From its first half-hour to its fourth, “Biggest Loser” increased its 18-49 rating by 44 percent (to a 3.9 from a 2.7) and its overall viewership by 37 percent or more than 2.6 million persons (9.8 million vs. 7.1 million).  By its fourth half-hour from 9:30-10 p.m. ET, “Biggest Loser” out-rated ABC’s “Lost” in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and all key adult-female demos. 


At 10 p.m., “Parenthood” averaged a 2.5/7 in adults 18-49 and 6.4 million viewers overall.  “Parenthood” is #2 among the major networks in the hour in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.  “Parenthood raised its biggest overall audience since March 23.

For its second half-hour from 10:30-11, “Parenthood” is #1 among the major networks in adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54 and all key adult-female demos.  In the key news demo of adults 25-54, “Parenthood” delivered a 12 percent margin of victory (with a 2.9 rating vs. 2.6 for ABC’s second-place “V”).
