‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ #1 all demos; NBC take second place Sunday

At 7 p.m., a preview of “Minute To Win It” (1.5/5 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) increased its rating by 31 percent from half-hour to half-hour in 18-49 (to a 1.7 from a 1.3) and its overall viewership by 19 percent (to 5.0 million from 4.2 million).  In the time period, “Minute To Win It” ranked #2 among the major networks in men 18-34 and finished within a tenth of a rating point of first place in adults 18-34.
  
At 8 p.m., the regular-slot premiere of “Minute To Win It” (2.4/7 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall) is up 41% versus NBC’s non-sports average in the time period so far this season in adults 18-49 (2.4 vs. 1.7, “live plus same day”).
 
From its first half-hour to its second, “Minute To Win It” increased its 18-49 rating by 24% (to a 2.6 from a 2.1) and its overall viewership by 18% or 1.2 million persons (7.8 million vs. 6.6 million).
 
From 9-11 p.m., the premiere of “The Celebrity Apprentice” (3.2/8 in 18-49, 8.3 million viewers overall) jumped 45% above NBC’s non-sports average in the time period so far this season in adults 18-49 (3.2 vs. 2.2, “live plus same day”) and delivered a 32% increase in total viewers (8.3 million vs. 6.3 million).  From its first half-hour to its fourth, “The Celebrity Apprentice” increased its 18-49 rating by 33 percent (to a 3.6 from a 2.7) and its overall viewership by 18 percent or 1.4 million persons (to 9.1 million from 7.7 million).  


“The Celebrity Apprentice” is currently tied for first place in its two-hour time period in adults 18-49 (tied with Fox from 9-10 p.m., ahead of ABC and CBS in 9-11 p.m. averages), pending updates.

For its second hour, from 10-11 p.m., “The Celebrity Apprentice” is #1 in all key demographics — adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.   “Celebrity Apprentice” won the 10 p.m. hour in adults 18-49 by a margin of 44 percent (3.6 vs. 2.5 for both ABC and CBS).
