The Reason National TV Advertising is Not Slowing

MoffettNathansonIn 4Q 2015, Facebook increased North American advertising revenue by +$1 billion and Google increased U.S. ad revenue by +26% while national TV added an incremental $750 million. Driven by digital and national TV, 4Q U.S. advertising, as defined by MoffettNathanson, grew at the single highest rate of growth in a non-Olympic quarter in the last ten years. The company calls the results “shocking” and questions what’s going on with national TV advertising.
