In Washington, D.C., “Meet the Press” beat the competition combined with 130,000 viewers (4.6/12HH). The NBC program had a whopping +1082% advantage over ABC’s 11,000 (0.4/1 HH), a +242% lead over FOX News’ 41,000 viewers (1.5/4 HH), and +91% more than CBS’ 38,000 (1.5/4 HH). In homes nationally, the NBC broadcast topped the competition with a 2.2 rating and 7 share. CBS and ABC tied for second with a 1.6/5 and FOX was last with 0.8/3. “Meet the Press” has now placed first in households for 532 of the past 535 weeks (when everyone is at full coverage).
Among adults 25-54, the NBC Sunday morning program was first with 876,000 viewers. ABC was second with 711,000 viewers, CBS third with 629,000 viewers and FOX News was last with 399,000 viewers. Week-to-week, “Meet the Press” widened its advantage over both “Face The Nation” and “This Week” in homes, total viewers, rating M18-49, and rating M25-54. NBC also increased its gap over ABC and CBS versus 1Q’10 and season-to-date levels in homes, total viewers, rating W/M18-49.
Season-to-date, “Meet the Press” now leads second-place “Face The Nation” by +18% in total viewers and +15% in A25-54 (000).
On its digital platforms, “Meet the Press” generated more than 280,000 online video streams from March 14 through March 18, 2010. The “Meet the Press” video podcast (available at www.mtp.msnbc.com) remains the top ranked network Sunday Morning program podcast on iTunes.

The NBC broadcast was No. 1, delivering 3.040 million total viewers, 35% more (+786,000) than second place CBS’ “Face the Nation” 2.254 million, a +37% lead (+813,000) over third place ABC’s “This Week” 2.227 million, and a +168% advantage (+1,905,00) over FOX News Sunday’s 1.135 million viewers. “Meet the Press” has now placed first in total viewers for 434 of the past 439 weeks (when everyone is at full coverage). Rebroadcasts of the program delivered an additional 982,000 viewers (440,000 on the network re-air, and 542,000 on msnbc rebroadcasts).
