Tonight, ‘LOST’ fans can once again revisit the first two hours that started the hot talk for the groundbreaking series.  48 survivors of a plan crach, stranded on a mysterious desert island. They must find strength to work together if they’re to stay alive.

Ratings status: Last Tuesday Opposite stiff all-original demographic competition at 9:00 p.m. on Fox (Idol-fueled “Glee”), NBC (second hour of a 2-hour “The Biggest Loser”) and CBS (“NCIS: LA”), ABC’s “Lost” built on its lead-in by 64% in Adults 18-49 (4.1/10).  Finishing a strong No. 2 in Adults 18-49 to “Glee,” “Lost” outperformed “The Biggest Loser” by 11% (3.7/9) and “NCIS: LA” by 24% (3.3/8) in the hour.  Topping “Glee” for the 2nd straight week, “Lost” stood as the No. 1 scripted show of the night in key Men (M18-34/M18-49). Building its overall audience for its 3rd straight original broadcast, “Lost” generated its most-watched telecast (10.3 million) in 3 months (3rd largest audience this season) and equaled its top Adult 18-49 number (4.1/10) in more than 2 months – since 2/9 and 3/9/10, respectively. 

“Pilot, Parts 1 & 2” – In anticipation of the Series Finale, ABC presents the two-hour pilot of the series that changed the way viewers watch television. After Oceanic flight 815 crash lands, the 48 survivors find themselves on an island of harsh terrain, cruel weather and dark secrets, including a frightful creature that stalks the jungle. Strangers all, even those related by blood, the survivors’ pasts – their ethics, religions, politics and attitudes – threaten to jeopardize the group’sabilitytoendure.

However, thanks to the calm leadership of quick-thinking Jack and level-headed Kate, the group has hope for survival and rescue. Meanwhile, the discovery of a transceiver among the plane’s wreckage and the thought that rescue could be imminent temporarily raises the castaways’ spirits.  Still, the island’s mysteries continue to baffle, with the discovery of handcuffs, a gun and an animal that shouldn’t be able to survive in a tropical climate, on “Lost,” Tonight: SATURDAY, MAY 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network (Rebroadcast. OAD: 9/22&29/04).

Guest starring in “Pilot, Parts 1 & 2” are Emilie de Ravin as Claire, L. Scott Caldwell as Rose, Fredric Lane as marshal, Kimberley Hawryluk as flight attendant no. 1, John Dixon as flight attendant no. 2, Michelle Arthur as flight attendant no. 3 and Greg Grunberg as pilot.
