Tony-BrunoThe Greater Media/Philadelphia sports talker has resigned from “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN after contract talks broke down. Bruno had been off the air the last few days, with co-host Harry Mayes covering the show. “We thank him for his contributions and wish him well,” Greater Media said in a statement. Bruno, a former Fox Sports Radio talker, had been the station since May 2011. Perhaps CBS Radio’s WIP in that market will pick him up…speaking of which, SportsRadio 94WIP just reached a new agreement with Veteran Broadcaster and Pro Football Hall of Fame writer Ray Didinger, it was announced by Marc Rayfield, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, CBS Radio Philadelphia. Didinger has signed a multi-year deal which will expand his role on WIP and will include work on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT and KYW Newsradio.
