Tower opportunity on a Santa Barbara mountain

Santa Barbara sits on the Pacific coast between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and it’s home to Los Padres National Forest, which in turn is home to a not-quite-ten-year-old tower site that can be yours, if the price is right.

The site, some 4,000 feet above the ocean, is suitable for a wide range of communications applications, including broadcasting. Other possibilities include long-haul microwave, ISP communications, local communications or as a relay point between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Bob Heymann of Media Services Group is handling the sale for owner Santa Barbara Tower. Heymann says the asking price is $2.4M.

The site is described as consisting of  “…two towers (one tower being 150 feet tall and the other 120 feet tall) on the mountaintop connected via two coax ice bridges to a 2,400 square foot air conditioned transmission building. Current tenants include Qualcomm, Entravision Television, and EMF Radio.”
