On Nov. 11, CBS Radio promoted Bob Philips — its corporate SVP/Sales and SVP/Market Manager and Director of Sales of the company’s Baltimore stations — to the new role of Chief Revenue Officer.

With Philips’ promotion came the need to replace him in Baltimore.

The search is over, as CBS Radio has promoted VP/Director of Sales Tracy Brandys to Philips’ former local role in Charm City.

CBS Radio’s four-station Baltimore cluster is comprised of Sports WJZ-AM & FM, AC WLIF-FM and Hot AC WWMX-FM.

The cluster is also home to the CBS Radio Up Close Performance Studio.

Brandys reports directly to CBS Radio COO Scott Herman.

In her new role, Brandys will have complete oversight of all Baltimore station operations, including sales, programming, events, digital, marketing and promotions, engineering, finance and administration.

She will lead the market’s efforts to develop strategic growth initiatives with a focus on nurturing and extending existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities and partnerships.

“Tracy’s years of sales and management experience coupled with her intimate knowledge of our Baltimore stations and the overall market made her the natural choice to take on this important role,” said Herman. “Throughout her tenure with CBS Radio, Tracy has proven to be a powerhouse sales person who has led and grown our revenue and market share in Baltimore, and a trusted leader to our valued employees. We are delighted to reward her accomplishments with this well-deserved promotion.”

Brandys has served as GSM for WWMX and has held sales roles at Summit Broadcasting and at Sconnix Broadcasting, former owner of WQSR-FM in Baltimore.
