A Booster Backer Gets A Boricua AM


One Puerto Rican owner of AM radio stations has been on a crusade to get the FCC to allow AM stations to use synchronous boosters on a permanent basis.

He now has another AM to add to his stable, thanks to the acquisition of a Class B that goes up in power during nighttime hours.
