Bayou Combo Sold To Debut Owner


Lisa Stiglets has acquired her very first radio stations, thanks to a deal that saw Media Services Group serve as the exclusive brokers representing the seller.

The deal gives Stiglets’ JLE, Inc., ownership of an AM-FM combo in Louisiana.

For a purchase price of $725,000, JLE is acquiring Class C 1kw KJIN-AM 1490 and Class C2 50kw KCIL-FM 96.7 in Houma, La., from My Home Media LLC.

The seller is headed by Manager and General Partner Jim Anderson. My Home Media will continue to own KXOR-FM in Thibodaux, La. Anderson has attributable ownership interest of radio stations in the Corpus Christi and Amarillo, Tex., markets, and the Clovis, New Mexico market.

Bill Whitley of the Dallas office of Media Services Group and George Reed of the Jacksonville office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive brokers, representing My Home Media and Anderson.

Stiglets is operating the AM-FM combo by way of an LMA, ahead of closing.
