Curtis Media closed on the purchase of three FM translators from Positive Alternative Radio, Inc., a North Carolina non-profit.
The buyer was actually Curtis Media affiliate Eastern Airwaves.
One translator is licensed to Danville, Virginia and another to Indian Trails, NC. A construction permit for a third translator is licensed to Sanford, N.C.
The price was $210,000.
Bob Heymann of the Chicago office of Media Services Group was the exclusive broker for the buyer. Robert Branch represented the seller.
