Tribune stations win 14 Edward R. Murrow awards (video)

Tribune BroadcastingTribune Broadcasting announced eight of its television stations were awarded 14 Edward R. Murrow Awards by the Radio Television Digital News Association, with KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City receiving the highest honor, an award for Overall Excellence.


Tribune Broadcasting’s stations were awarded Edward R. Murrow Awards in the regional categories of News Series, Feature Reporting, Investigative Reporting, Sports Reporting, Documentary and Use of Sound and Video.

RTDNA has been honoring outstanding achievements in journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971; the awards recognize the best journalism produced by radio, television and online news organizations around the world.
