Budding TV group in Florida

Harvey and Irene Budd already have a CW affiliate in the Tallahassee FL-Thomasville GA DMA. They also control 50% of Gainesville Channel 61 Associates, which has a CP for a DIY television station in Gainesville FL. Their Budd Broadcasting Company has just filed to buy the remaining 50%. The station is earmarked for Channel 29. The Budds will be getting the share owned by Elvin Feltner's Television Capital Corporation of Gainesville for 750K cash. In addition to the Tallahassee station, WFXU-TV, the couple owns eight LPTVs.
