DirecTV boss signs for three more years

Chase Carey has signed a new three-year employment contract to continue as President and CEO of DirecTV Group. The agreement runs through December 31, 2010. Carey reported to investors yesterday that second quarter revenues increased 17% to 4.14 billion and operating profit before depreciation and amortization increased 16% to 1.13 billion.
