NFL Commissioner Robert Goodell announced that the league has signed renewals for two years with two of its network partners. The deals will keep the Sunday AFC games on CBS through the 2013-2014 season and the NFC games on Fox.
Terms of the deals were not released. CBS said its deal with the NFL includes CBS broadcasting Super Bowl XLVII in the first year of the new agreement.
“This agreement significantly strengthens what is already a great partnership between CBS and the NFL, and continues to add to CBS Sports’ reputation as the undisputed industry leader in sports television with top franchises in all of television. I would like to thank all the great people at CBS Sports and at the NFL for making this important deal happen,” said CBS Corporation CEO Les Moonves.
