Ray Timothy dead at 75
Former NBC executive Ray Timothy has died of multiple myeloma cancer in Seattle at age 75. Timothy, who rose from his start as an NBC Tour Guide to become Group Executive Vice President of NBC before his retirement in 1988, held 30 different jobs and titles in a variety of departments at the company over a 34-year career and the company statement said he was instrumental in NBC's tremendous growth and change during that period.
