Michelle Obama in White House food fight

In a programming coup for cable’s The Food Network, three of the channel’s Iron Chefs will be joined by the White House chef and First Lady Michelle Obama in a cooking contest using the White House Kitchen Garden as well as the actual White House kitchen.

Bobby Flay will team up with WH’s Cristeta Comerford against a team composed of Mario Batali and Emeril Lagasse in a cook-off in which they must prepare five distinctly American dishes with food harvested from the garden. The show will be seen Sunday, 1/3/10 at 8PM Eastern.
