DirecTV adds two more local-to-local markets

DirecTV satellite subscribers in the Minot-Bismarck-Dickinson, ND market and the Sherman, TX-Ada, OK market now have access to HD programming from their local broadcast TV stations. With the additions of the two new markets, DirecTV says it now offers local-to-local HD in 138 markets.

In Minot-Bismarck-Dickinson, DirecTV says it is now offering KBMY (ABC), KXMB (CBS) and KFYR (NBC) in HD; plus KBME (PBS) in standard-definition.

In the Sherman-Ada DMA, the satellite service is offering KXII (CBS) and Fox in HD; and PBS in standard-definition.
