Roker dabbles in morning time murder
NBC Today Show weatherman Al Roker admits that the main character in his new novel has some of his own characteristics, but being a prime suspect in a murder isn’t one of them. "The Morning Show Murders" is about Billy Blessing – a restaurateur and morning show cook -- "He's black, bald and chubby with a little bit of a sense of humor," says Roker – who finds himself wrapped up in a killing. Today Show junkies may have fun trying to identify traits of Today Show veterans, but Roker says none are recognizable. Crime novelist Dick Lochte collaborated on the book.
