Report: Fuel TV changing hands
Sports Business Journal reports that News Corporation is close to a deal to sell Fuel TV. The action sports cable net is said to be heading to Viacom.
There is no confirmation from either side, but divesting Fuel TV would fit with the recent disposition of News Corporation’s Fox Cable Networks to divest niche channels to focus on its big revenue producers.
According to Sports Business Journal the price will be in the low to mid nine figures – that’s hundreds of millions.
