Bob's a Hall of Famer
Retired "The Price is Right" host Bob Barker will be inducted into the NAB Broadcasting Hall of Fame during the 2008 NAB Show Television Luncheon on Monday, April 14th in Las Vegas. Barker retired from the CBS show in June after hosting "The Price is Right" for 35 years, but his career in television covered 50 years, including winning 19 Emmy awards.
"For 50 years, Bob Barker has been an enduring figure for millions of television viewers. He has served as the familiar face for family-friendly programming, and we are proud to honor him for his contribution to broadcasting and American entertainment," said NAB President and CEO David Rehr.
